Is Credit Repair Legal?

YES! Because of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Billing Act, Truth in Lending Act, and other applicable Federal statues, its your legal right to dispute items on your credit report.

Never deal with any credit doctor agencies that recommend you obtain a new social security number, attempt to create a consumer credit profile under a EIN, or create fake credit profiles by intentionally reporting false data. This is considered highly illegal and / or unethical and if caught, can result in significant personal liability.

 

Who helps me through this process?

Build My Scores guarantees performance of all services set forth in this agreement to achieve an accurate credit report on the Client?s behalf. Build My Scores comments about the possible and/or potential outcome of Client?s matter are based upon experience and prior success in these matters. Each case is unique. Build My Scores does not guarantee the permanent removal of accurate and verifiable information. Client?s active participation in providing Build My Scores all requested documents, forms, and information including investigation results, as set forth in this agreement are essential for the accomplishment of an accurate credit report. If Build My Scores does not cause any change or delete any item of information whatsoever on Client?s credit reports during the 210-day term of this agreement, Client may request a refund in writing of the fees paid in proportion to services rendered

Will you work with my spouse as well?
Build My Scores will improve credit issues for anyone who’s concerned with improving their credit. We actually suggest working on both of your credit problems together if applicable. If you plan to apply for credit together in the future, make sure that both of your credit reports are in good standing.

How do you dispute joint accounts?
As we improve information on your credit, we handle joint accounts in the same rigorous manner as individual accounts and we dispute the information in your name only. Keep in mind that deletions resulting from your disputes may be deleted from the other persons credit report as well.

Why cant I just do it myself?
You can do it yourself. You can build your own house, represent your self in court, repair you own credit or you can hire a team of experts that will handle your accounts in a timely manner and get the job done the right way the first time.
